Meet Our Team
GERARD C. COPELAND MSN, RN
Gerard is the founder and owner of Georgia Home Service LLC. Gerard began his nursing career as a Navy hospital corpsman
during the Vietnam era and after receiving an
honorable discharge in 1974. Continuing his desire to work in health care and worked as
a surgical technician at major Baltimore, Maryland hospital.
After several years as a surgical technician, he returned to Chicago, Illinois pursued a nursing career, and graduated from Malcolm X College in 1985 with an associate degree in nursing he has worked on several medical-surgical units and geriatric units.
He received his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University in 2010 and his Master’s degree in nursing with a concentration in education in 2020.
Annie Mae Copeland, AAS, AACP, B.Sc., M.Div., MA
Chaplain Annie Copeland. Dural Master’s Degree in Divinity (Christ-Centered Counseling), at Trinity College of the Bible Theological Seminary. 2022. Ordained Minister 23 years. In 2023 graduated at Rush University Center Hospital / Samaritan Hospital (CPE) Clinical Pastoral Education, a total of 2 Units.
As a Hospice Chaplain, I provide spiritual and emotional support to clients and their families during end-of-life care. Our Company also offers comfort, compassion, and prayer services. It involves, providing counseling services, leading prayer services, and helping people explore their faith. Most importantly, I am a trained listener and provide a safe space for individuals to share their fears, joys, and hopes as they deal with the
transition of life.

Attended Rasmussen College (A.A.S) Associate’s Child Development
I have been caring for both seniors and children for over ten years. As a child, my passion was always for senior citizens and children. Ten years ago, I was a Daycare Provider, caring for over 50 children, and never regretted a moment. At present, I have retired from being a Daycare Provider and plan to care for Seniors is another one of my passions.

Our Caregivers
The owners of the company are a part of the hiring process to ensure we select only the most trustworthy and reliable caregivers and nurses to be a part of a team.
The goal of Georgia Home Service LLC is to have a reputation for hiring the highest caliber caregivers. Think about how you would take applications from and interview that many people to find the right Caregiver. We hire applicants that have at least one year of caregiving experience and that have certifications (e.g. Certified Nursing Assistants, Registered Medical Assistants, Certified Caregivers, etc); many are also retired nurses and other professionals.
